CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
The Morningstar Children’s Ministry goal is to minister the love of Christ to the whole family including:

The Children (Deut. 6:5-7): To share God’s Word with them that they might learn to love the Lord with all their heart, soul, and strength.

The Parents (Heb. 10:24-25): To come up alongside them as they seek to raise their children in the ways of the Lord.

The Staff (1 Peter 4:10): To give them an opportunity to use and develop the gifts God has bestowed on them.

The Body (Phil. 2:3-4): To give them a chance to be able to be instructed in the Word without distraction. Read More...

CHRIST AND CANCER SUPPORT GROUP MINISTRY
Christ and Cancer Support Group is an offshoot of the Christ and Cancer Facebook page which serves as an online gathering place for those who have been touched by cancer. INNER CITY MISSIONS
"Shall I not love that great city?"Jonah 4:11 Says the God of Jonah, to rebuke his lovelessness toward a fallen people. We live on the fringes of a great city, upstream, that pumps music, thought, film, art, and worldview to our suburban doorsteps (if not the entire world). It's our prayer that in the midst of this great fallen City, Jesus may be known. It's our prayer that more and more Christians hear the call to this great city, and come that many may know Jesus in the city. Here at Morningstar, we believe that it’s the Gospel of Jesus Christ that changes a city. We seek to give the people of Morningstar the opportunity to serve the city, by bringing the Gospel to her. Sports are huge here in sunny Southern California, and thousands of our neighbors participate in them, all the while having never met Jesus. NURSERY MINISTRY
The Nursery Ministry provides childcare for babies under the age of 2. Trained nursery personnel are on staff to care for the children and allow the parents to attend service without distractions. PRAYER PARTNER MINISTRY
The Morningstar Christian Chapel Women’s Prayer Partner Ministry provides an opportunity to join with other women to pray over the phone when needed. These ladies make themselves available to pray for immediate prayer requests that come through the church by phone or by email. The Morningstar Sound Ministry serves the body of Christ by providing a comfortable environment to hear the Word of God as well as sing praises to His name. The men and women of the sound team are modern day deacons. Our job is to ensure that when our teacher speaks, all can hear, and when worship begins, we can all praise our Lord together as one body. The Chapel Store is a ministry of Morningstar Christian Chapel - providing resources for those who attend Morningstar and for the neighboring communities who are looking for a Christian bookstore. The store is open 7 days a week and is staffed by volunteers who desire to serve the Lord by serving His people.

USHERS
An Usher watches over and takes care of the needs of the people as they come to the church to attend services. During regular services, ushers are assigned different roles in the sanctuary, from seating people, to greeting and handing out bulletins at the doors, to helping parents find the appropriate classroom for their children. Every Thursday evening at 7:00 PM in Room 4, "With Wings As Eagles" meets to provide a "one-step" program for individuals who have had challenges with life-dominating sins and bondage.
