1 Corinthians 10:23-24

All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful; all things are lawful for me, but not all things edify. Let no one seek his own, but each one the other’s well-being.
1 Corinthians 10:23-24

Many of the believers in the church at Corinth were struggling with their newfound freedom in Christ and found themselves asking a question that many Christians have been asking for years since, "What can I get away with and still call myself a Christian?"

And instead of giving them a long list of Christian rules, the Apostle Paul tells them they are not asking the right question. Instead of asking the infamous "How far is too far?" question, Paul challenges them to ask themselves instead: "What can I do to benefit others, even at the risk of setting aside some of my freedoms?" It is a totally different question, but it’s one that very well might change their lives.

It's a great question to ask yourself today: "Are the freedoms that I'm enjoying as a child of God helping others to grow in their relationship with Jesus?" It's a question that just might change your life and the lives of others as well.
